What’s wrong with socialism, if it helps people? By the way the picture on the right is North and South Korea. Questions?
Well there are a couple
of answers to that question. First it does not really help people in the long run. In the best of situations, with Socialism, “Mediocracy” would be your top rung. And the fantasy of Utopia would only be under conditions that are not possible because
of that little thing called human nature. It is natural for every human to try and improve their station in life and society. You can’t fight this. Some people will always succeed, no matter how many times you try to damp them down. Other
people will always fail, no matter how many times you try to give them a boost.
There is no such thing as “Utopia.”
do an experiment with all of the Liberals that think more money should be taken from that top 1% that already pay about 40% of the Federal income taxes collected by the government. We will take all of the rich liberals, middle class liberals and the poor liberals
on entitlement programs and pool all of their money and divide it by the number of total liberals and that will be what each person will now receive to live on. We will do this every week on payday and see how that works out. If Utopia breaks out, then I am
on board with it. But even if the rich liberals and middle class liberals were willing to go along with this, how long do you think it would take for the rich and middle class liberals to stop working so hard to earn money that was only going to be taken away
from them anyway? That is only human nature at play. So this “experiment” would not go on indefinitely, but only until people got sick of spending their time and energy almost solely for the benefit of others. So I will say for
you liberals to pull your heads out of your behinds and understand some things about economics and human nature.
As for the poor liberals on entitlement programs (except for the very small percentage that
are truly disabled – devastating birth defects, horrific accidents, etc.), these programs are just creating a permanent underclass of dependency. This means that whatever talents they have will never be used for their benefit or for the benefit
of society, and their self esteem will always be low, leading to the use of drugs, crime, perpetual dependency. This is what happens when government tries to help.
